Healthy Churros
water, 8 servings, air frying, all purpose or whole-wheat, baking powder, chocolates and sweets, desserts, healthy, instant vortex, olive oil, or sweetener of choice, salt, Solange Martinez-Gonzales
Ingreadient
- 1½ cups (1 quart or 950 ml) water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp monk fruit or sweetener of choice
- 1 pinch salt
- 1⅔ cups (215 g) flour all purpose or whole-wheat
- 1 tbsp baking powder
Direction
- In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder.
- In the Instant Pot® inner pot, water, sweetener, salt, and olive oil and bring to a boil.
- Once boiled, mix in the dry ingredients to form a homogeneous and sticky dough.
- Place the dough in a pastry bag. Form the churros and place on a tray and freeze for 1 hour before cooking.
- Line Instant Vortex tray with parchment paper and set frozen churros on it.
- On the Instant Vortex control panel, press Air Fry, then set time to 12 Minutes and temperature to 355ºF (180°C). Press Start.
- Remove the churros; drizzle your favorite sauce on them, and enjoy!
