Cuban Sandwich
Once hot, add pork loin chunks, salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 Minutes on each side and remove from the Instant Pot®.
Ingreadient
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lb pork loin
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 6 cloves garlic
- ½ of consommé
- Juice of one orange
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Zest of an orange
- 6 pcs white bread
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- ham
- provolone cheese
- Sliced pickles
Direction
- Insert the stainless steel inner pot into the Instant Pot® and add olive oil. Press Saute.
- Once hot, add pork loin chunks, salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 4 Minutes on each side and remove from the Instant Pot®.
- Add the minced garlic, consommé, orange juice, lemon juice and orange zest to the Instant Pot®. Stir and add the pieces of seared pork loin.
- Close and lock the Instant Pot® lid. Make sure the steam release handle is turned to Sealing. Press Cancel to end Saute function.
- Press Pressure Cook, pressure level High, and set the time for 20 Minutes.
- Once the time is up, press Cancel and turn the steam release handle to Venting.
- Remove pork loin chunks and chop finely.
- Spread mustard and melted butter on a piece of bread. Add minced pork loin, ham and provolone cheese.
- Cook for 1 to 2 Minutes, add pickles to taste and serve.
