Air Fried Gruyère in Pastry with Fig

Ingreadient
- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 3 cups gruyere or Emmental, shredded
- 3/4 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic cloves minced
- 1 pinch of sea salt and black pepper
- 2 Fgs, sliced
- 2 tsp honey for drizzling plus more for serving
- 1 egg beaten
Direction
- Lay the puff pastry flat on a sheet of parchment paper.
- Pile the cheese in the center of the pastry.
- Mix the rosemary, garlic, salt and pepper together. Sprinkle over the cheese.
- Place the sliced fig and drizzle honey on top.
- Fold the corners of the pastry over the cheese . Do not cover the top of cheese, slightly opening the top to melt and brown the cheese.
- Brush the pastry with beaten egg.
- Select Air Fry set the temperature to 400 °F and time to 12 Minutes and press start
- Once the air fryer is preheated, open the air fryer basket and place the the pastry carefully into the basket.
- Ignore it and continue to cook. Once the Air fryer shows the Turn Food signal.
- Once the cooking cycle is done, remove the pastry.
- Serve with extra honey and your favorite bread or crackers. Enjoy!
