Tomato Makhani Soup


Made with Custom Culinary® Indian-Style Butter Sauce, this dish combines tomatoes, cream, and a blend of spices for an Indian-inspired twist on traditional tomato soup.

Ingreadient

    • ½ cup    Tomato paste
    • 1 cup    Cream, heavy
    • 2 lb    Custom Culinary® True Foundations® Indian-Style Butter Sauce
    • ½ t    Black garlic, glaze 
    • 3 ea    Jalapeno, sliced ¼” garnish
    • 2 ea    Cilantro, leaves, garnish

Direction

    1. In a medium-sized saucepan, warm tomato paste and cream. Reduce slightly.
    2. Add the Indian-Style butter sauce and bring to a gentle boil.
    3. Serve hot or allow to cool and pour into storage containers. Keeps 3-5 days in refrigerator.
    4. Ladle hot soup into a warm bowl.
    5. Place a half Tikka Grilled Cheese on the side.
    6. Top soup with a drizzle of black garlic glaze.
    7. Top with thinly sliced jalapenos and cilantro leaves.
