Samosa Tot with Butter Sauce
A gluten-friendly take on a samosa. This stuffed tot is served with an Indian-Style Butter Sauce for dipping.
Ingreadient
- 1 qt. Water, hot, 180°F
- 15.5 oz. Idahoan® Shred Tater Tumblers® Unseasoned Mix (1/2 bag)
- 2 c Peas, cooked, cool
- 1/2 c. Cilantro, chopped
- 2 qts. True Foundations® Indian-Style Butter Sauce
- 2 c. Cilantro, leaves, torn (garnish)
Direction
- Carefully pour hot water into a mixing bowl and pour in the tot mix, stirring to combine.
- Let stand for 10 minutes.
- Stir in peas and cilantro.
- Form into tots with a #60 scoop and arrange on sheet pans to store covered in the cooler.
- At service time, fry in a pre-heated deep fryer for 1-2 minutes in batches.
- Carefully drain in a serrated pan or on wire racks.
- Ladle a small 1 oz. ladle of hot Indian-Style Butter Sauce onto the tasting plate.
- Top with a hot samosa tot and top with a cilantro leaf garnish.
