Red and Golden Quinoa


A nutritious side dish that has all the satisfaction of your favorite starches.

Ingreadient

    • 4 c.    Water, tap, cold
    • 3 t.    Custom Culinary® Gold Label Low Sodium Vegetable Base
    • 1 c.    Quinoa, golden
    • 1 c.    Quinoa, red

Direction

    1. Place water and vegetable base into a medium saucepan.
    2. Stir to dissolve base.
    3. Add quinoa and bring to medium boil.
    4. Cover and reduce heat to low and cook for 10-20 minutes or until liquid is fully absorbed.
    5. Remove from heat and allow to rest.
    6. Once rested, gently fluff hot quinoa with fork. Serve immediately or  hold for service.
