Red and Golden Quinoa
A nutritious side dish that has all the satisfaction of your favorite starches.
Ingreadient
- 4 c. Water, tap, cold
- 3 t. Custom Culinary® Gold Label Low Sodium Vegetable Base
- 1 c. Quinoa, golden
- 1 c. Quinoa, red
Direction
- Place water and vegetable base into a medium saucepan.
- Stir to dissolve base.
- Add quinoa and bring to medium boil.
- Cover and reduce heat to low and cook for 10-20 minutes or until liquid is fully absorbed.
- Remove from heat and allow to rest.
- Once rested, gently fluff hot quinoa with fork. Serve immediately or hold for service.
