Indian-Style Chana Tikki with Coconut Curry Sauce


Golden-brown chickpea patties, or chana tikki, are perfectly spiced and served with a creamy coconut curry sauce. This dish promises a delightful harmony of textures and flavors.

Ingreadient

    • 1 ea    #10 can chickpeas
    • 1 bag    True Foundations® Tikka Masala Sauce
    • 10 oz    White sesame seeds
    • 1 bun    Parsley, chopped
    • 4 lbs    Your choice of rice
    • 2 bags    True Foundations® Coconut Curry Sauce

Direction

    1. Smash chickpeas to a rough paste
    2. Reduce 1 bag Tikka Masala Sauce until dry and forms a concentrated paste
    3. Add paste reduction to smashed chickpeas
    4. Add chopped parsley
    5. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if desired
    6. Form into patties and dredge in sesame seeds and set aside
    7. Oil a non-stick pan with coconut spray and saute each pattiy until golden bown
    8. Serve with Coconut Curry Sauce
    9. Garnish with chopped scallions
