Indian-Style Chana Tikki with Coconut Curry Sauce
Golden-brown chickpea patties, or chana tikki, are perfectly spiced and served with a creamy coconut curry sauce. This dish promises a delightful harmony of textures and flavors.
Ingreadient
- 1 ea #10 can chickpeas
- 1 bag True Foundations® Tikka Masala Sauce
- 10 oz White sesame seeds
- 1 bun Parsley, chopped
- 4 lbs Your choice of rice
- 2 bags True Foundations® Coconut Curry Sauce
Direction
- Smash chickpeas to a rough paste
- Reduce 1 bag Tikka Masala Sauce until dry and forms a concentrated paste
- Add paste reduction to smashed chickpeas
- Add chopped parsley
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if desired
- Form into patties and dredge in sesame seeds and set aside
- Oil a non-stick pan with coconut spray and saute each pattiy until golden bown
- Serve with Coconut Curry Sauce
- Garnish with chopped scallions
