Caribbean Island Style Turkey burger


A twist on the classic burger that will bring your taste buds to life, featuring Custom Culinary® Gold Label Jalapeno Relish. The Caribbean Island Style Turkey Burger consists of fresh mango salsa, jerk seasoned turkey patty, and bib lettuce leaves inside of a toasted potato bun.

Ingreadient

    • 1/2 cup    Traditional Pico de Gallo (Small Diced Onion, Tomatoes, Cilantro)
    • 1/2 cup    Mango, Peeled, Small Diced
    • Caribbean Island Style Turkey Burger
    • 6 oz.    Ground Turkey
    • 1 Tbsp.    Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
    • 1/3 oz.    Bibb Lettuce Leaves
    • 1 oz.    Custom Culinary® Gold Label Jalapeno Relish
    • 1 ea.    Potato Bun

Direction

    1. Preheat a flat top griddle to 350°F.
    2. In a small bowl, blend all ingredients for the Fresh Mango Salsa, cover and refrigerate until needed. You will have enough salsa for several burgers.  Hold excess salsa chilled. 
    3. In a small bowl, combine Caribbean Jerk seasoning with ground turkey meat, blend thoroughly and form into a 5” round even thickness patty.
    4. Place the Caribbean-seasoned turkey patty on preheated grill. Cook for a total of approx. 12 – 14 minutes turning several times to assure an even cooking. Always cook to well done, 165°F internal temperature measured by a meat thermometer.
    5. While the burger is cooking, toast the bun, then remove and reserve.
    6. To assemble the burger, place the Bibb lettuce on the bottom bun, top with cooked turkey burger.
    7. Add the Gold Label Jalapeno Relish, 1 oz of the mango salsa and the top bun.
